The Project
Field Notes is an ongoing archival mail project by artist Dawn Fós.
Through photography, printmaking, and collected fragments, the project explores ecology, memory, light, and material process as a form of field observation.
The work emerges from an interdisciplinary practice rooted in alternative photographic processes, botanical study, research, and long-form observation.
Each monthly edition is assembled and mailed from the studio using archival materials intended to be collected, stored, and revisited over time.
